I am a non-binary artist passionate about representing intimacy through different media.

I’ve worked as a fine art model since 2008 and started analogue photography behind the camera in 2013 during one of my trips back home to Kazakhstan. I now live in London and am gathering resources to travel to Asia and connect with queer identities like myself.

Throughout my life, I worked on a multitude of projects: as a photo editor and columnist for GQ and Playboy Italia, editor and contributor for magazines like Rejkiavik Boulevard and C-Heads, writer and director for XConfessions by Erika Lust, and even as intimacy coordinator for Bumble, and many more. Still, my heart always beamed with quiet excitement on small, intimate shoots and collaborations. When the world goes silent, those with the most interesting and dramatic stories start sharing. They don’t always open their mouths to talk. I don’t always need my ears to listen.

I strive for connection and evolution, change and exploration, inclusion and safety. I provide visibility by offering my vulnerability. My stories used to be about me; now I am more concerned with the other, and, through the other, I redefine myself too.

Art to me is a dialogue where the ego is welcome, channelled and sometimes healed. The pictures are a glimpse into that conversation, they are the documentation of marginalised realities enmeshed with the day-to-day life. Still, they stand out; not othered but rather highlighted.

If this resonates with you and you want to talk about creating together, please do not hesitate to reach out. My doors are always open to the kind and curious.
